Our book, Stalin Today: Contending with the Soviet Past in Georgia, has been published

Stalin Today: Contending with the Soviet Past in Georgia, is co-authored by Peter Kabachnik, Ana Kirvalidze, and Alexi Gugushvili, and is a preliminary analysis of the quantitative and qualitative data that our project has gathered. This book provides an overview of some of the central themes we explored, including issues related to how Stalin is imagined, Georgian nationalism, and how Stalin’s attitude toward religion is understood. The book was published by Ilia State University Press (Tbilisi, Georgia) in November 2016.
